M100 series is our first series of embedded monitors designed for the IHD In Home Display related to AMI Advanced Metering Infrastructure systems. With years of accumulated technical know-how, we deliver more optimized products and minimize customer inconvenience and defects. This series is applied to medical devices with good performance, and it is also applicable to various industrial equipment.
M100 series is designed as an open frame ARM embedded computer with TFT LCD and touch screen. TFT LCD and touch screen can be selected according to user’s desired specifications, such as LCD size, touch method(resistive touch or capacitive touch), viewing angle and etc. M100 open frame ARM embedded computer is an early model using CoAsia Nexel’s NXP2120/700 MHz, and the operating system is Win CE 6.0. LCD sizes range from 7 inches to 12.1 inches, with resolutions up to HD level 1024 x 768(4:3). The initial development purpose of the M100 ARM embedded computer was designed as an Energy Monitoring device among IHD equipment, but as the aesthetic metical device industry developed, the M100 ARM embedded computer was also designed to be suitable for aesthetic medical devices. The M100 ARM embedded computer provides various interface such as UART, RS-232 and USB.
One of the advantages of using as ARM embedded computer as an HMI Human Machine Interface is the provision of an optimized interface. In case of medical devices, it is a system that uses RS-232 to communicate with a main MCU of the medical devices, and one or multiple RS-232 interface are required. The M100 ARM embedded computer provides two RS-232 and one USB interfaces, and USB is used for debugging when developing a GUI Graphic User Interface. One SD card and external speaker are also supported.
The M100 ARM embedded computer has been supplied to the medical device market for over 10 years and has been proven performance and quality. With the advancement of embedded computer CPUs, we have launched new models MX series. The CPU of MX series embedded computer uses CoreAsia Nexel’s S5P6818(Designed by Samsung) Octa-core Cortex-A53, and the operating system support the open source Linux 4.4.8 with Qt 5.6.3
