The XR Series is equipped with an integrated wireless module based on the Cypress CYW43455, providing comprehensive wireless connectivity options. The module supports the following features:

· 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi
· Bluetooth 5.0 BLE

These wireless interfaces can be enabled or disabled independently, depending on application requirements. For example, in kiosk applications, wireless functionality may be temporarily enabled by a service engineer during maintenance or system updates, and then disabled again after the work is completed. This approach enhances both operational security and system stability during normal operation.
The XR5 includes an onboard antenna as standard. When using the onboard antenna, it should be positioned within the product enclosure so that it is not surrounded by metal parts or ground planes, in order to maintain optimal wireless performance. In addition, a standard U.FL connector is provided to support the use of an external antenna when installation conditions or system design require greater placement flexibility.
